Job summary

SSOE's Advanced Technology division seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead multi‑disciplinary design and delivery for advanced technology facilities, including cleanrooms and fab support systems. You will coordinate with discipline leads, manage scope, budget, schedule, and risk across all project phases.

You'll drive change management, maintain client relationships, and guide design reviews and construction administration in fast-paced, highly regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil/Structural, or related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience in industrial/advanced technology facilities.
• Experience leading design-build or integrated project delivery.
• Strong technical understanding of cleanroom, HVAC, process utilities, power distribution, plumbing, and building support systems.
• Excellent communication and ability to build client relationships.
• PMP certification is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of complex semiconductor and advanced technology facility projects from pre-design through construction administration.
• Develop and manage scope, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and execution strategies for large multidisciplinary projects.
• Coordinate with discipline leads to integrate systems into cohesive deliverables.
• Guide basis of design development, design narratives, engineering calculations, and technical reviews.
• Oversee QA/QC review gates and milestone deliverable reviews for quality and compliance.
• Manage client communication and executive reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Direct change management, including scope evaluation and negotiations with clients and vendors.
• Coordinate with vendors and specialty consultants for equipment integration and long‑lead items.
• Lead construction administration activities such as RFIs, submittals, and site inspections.
• Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Promote a strong safety culture across project delivery.
• Mentor project team members and emerging PMs.
• Contribute to pursuit support and proposal development.
