Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multidisciplinary design and delivery for advanced technology facilities, including cleanrooms and fab support systems. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk across all phases, coordinating with clients, discipline leads, and subconsultants.

The role emphasizes change management, proactive communication, and adherence to latest industry practices in fast-moving, regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in industrial/advanced technology facilities.
• Experience with design-build or integrated project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of cleanroom, HVAC, process utilities, power distribution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client relationship skills.
• PMP certification is highly desired.
• Ability to mentor teams and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of complex semiconductor and advanced technology facility projects from pre-design through construction administration, ensuring alignment with client objectives, technical requirements, and project delivery milestones.
• Develop and manage project scope, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and execution strategies for large, multidisciplinary design and construction efforts.
• Coordinate with discipline leads in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, process, controls, and architectural teams to integrate systems.
• Guide basis of design development, design narratives, engineering calculations, and technical reviews for facility systems.
• Oversee QA/QC review gates, interdisciplinary coordination, and milestone deliverable reviews for accuracy and code compliance.
• Manage client communication and decision-making across the project lifecycle, including executive reporting and design reviews.
• Direct change management processes, including scope evaluation and contingency planning with clients and internal teams.
• Coordinate with vendors and specialty consultants for equipment integration and long-lead items.
• Lead construction administration activities such as RFIs, submittals, field observations, and turnover.
• Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
