Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, has an exciting opening for a Program Cost Controls Professional within the Naval Shipboard Missiles Sub-Strategic Business Unit. This role supports the upcoming FY27-29 production contract and partners with the program manager, technical leads, and functional support to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant work.
Experience with matrix organizations across contracts, engineering, operations and program management.
Proficient in MS Office and SAP ERP systems.
Understanding of AOP/LRP, forecasting, and program metrics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with deadline-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

Understand key business and financial drivers; translate trends into actionable leadership recommendations.
Forecast, identify risks, and support financial planning with independence.
Collaborate with team to meet contract, program and customer goals.
Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis and reporting.
Coordinate EAC and LRE development.
Provide financial guidance to program team and functional leads.
Create finance charts for monthly reviews and reporting.
Contribute to development and delivery of CDLRs.
Maintain program logs (work authorization, contract modification).
