Job summary

Raytheon, a leader in aerospace and defense, invites a Program Cost Controls professional to join the Naval Shipboard Missiles unit in a hybrid role near Tucson. You will drive forecasting, cost analysis, EAC/LRE coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to support a multi-year production contract and critical customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in a related field.
• Experience in a matrix organization spanning contracts, engineering, operations, and program management.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP (APEX, PRISM, BW) or similar systems.
• Understanding of AOP and Long-Range Planning, forecasting, metrics, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Understand key business and financial drivers for contracts, identify trends and risks, and translate into actionable leadership recommendations.
• Forecast, identify risks, and contribute to financial planning with independence and sound judgement.
• Collaborate with team members to meet contract, program, company and customer goals.
• Provide insightful cost, schedule, financial analysis and reporting using company tools and processes.
• Coordinate quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimates (LRE).
• Offer financial guidance to program teams and functional leads.
• Create finance charts for monthly reviews and reporting activities.
• Contribute to Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) development.
• Maintain program logs for work authorizations and contract modifications.
