Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Cost Control Analyst – Level 4 to join our Space Sector in Dulles, VA or Redondo Beach, CA. This onsite role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling to support pricing, proposals, and business decisions.

You will partner with Program Management and Engineering to ensure accurate budgets and schedules, perform EVM tasks, and drive continuous improvement in cost control practices across programs and intersite collaborations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience OR Master's with 6 years OR PhD with 4 years.
No clearance required to start.
Experience with financial analysis or reporting.
Experience with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts.
Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management.
Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure contracts stay within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines.
Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks including WBS development, budget baseline, and estimates to complete.
Build and maintain cost models for programs, proposals, and internal business cases.
