Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector seeks a Program Cost Control Analyst - Level 3 in Redondo Beach, CA. This 100% onsite role defines cost control practices and supports earned value management on key contracts.

The candidate will develop WBS, budgets and cost analyses, while supporting audits, reviews and government cost-control guidelines. A degree with relevant experience is required, with strong EVMS and financial analysis skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience OR Master’s with 3 years OR PhD with 1 year.
Experience with financial analysis or reporting.
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS).
Experience with FAR/DFAR is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support
Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete
Other duties as assigned
