Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Cost Control Analyst - Level 4 for our Space Sector. This onsite role in Dulles, VA or Redondo Beach, CA supports budgets, forecasts, and cost modeling on critical programs.

The position emphasizes EVM, WBS development, and financial planning with cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate bids and funded projects. Strong domain knowledge in defense contracts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 8+ years of experience or advanced degrees with related experience.
• Experience with financial analysis or reporting.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
• Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support.
• Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure contracts stay within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines.
• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks including WBS development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis, and visibility reports.
• Build and maintain cost models for programs, proposals, and internal business cases (labor, materials, ODC, overhead, fees).
• Analyze cost drivers and run scenario analyses for scope, schedule, and staffing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve estimating accuracy and cost/cash modeling methodologies.
• Other duties as assigned.
