Job summary

Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking a Senior Production Support professional to maintain stability and performance of critical applications in a fast-paced asset management environment. You will provide Level 1/2 support, investigate and resolve incidents, participate in production releases and change management, strengthen monitoring, and drive automation opportunities.

You will join an on-call rotation and collaborate across Development, Infrastructure, Network Engineering, and Information Security

Qualifications

• 8+ years of production support experience in Asset Management or Capital Markets.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across applications, databases, OS, and middleware.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and Python scripting for automation and log analysis.
• Excellent SQL skills for data querying and validation.
• Experience with FIX Protocol and ITSM/ticketing platforms is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON/XML, and application integrations.
• Familiarity with web and desktop application support.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana) is advantageous.
• Understanding of job scheduling/workload automation and middleware/messaging technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational health of assigned applications, ensuring stability and performance.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 production support, investigating and resolving incidents.
• Participate in production releases, deployment validation, and change management processes.
• Strengthen monitoring and alerting systems, maintain runbooks, and identify recurring issues for permanent resolution.
• Drive standardization of support metrics, incident/change management, and escalation procedures.
• Identify and deliver automation opportunities using scripting and modern tooling.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and mentor other support resources.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Network Engineering, and Information Security teams.
• Support applications within the Cantor Asset Management environment, including Order Management Systems, Portfolio Management platforms, and Investment/Trading applications.
