Job summary

Dow Knoxville is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to optimize plant operations, resolve production challenges and ensure safe, cost-efficient manufacturing of high-quality products. The role bridges plant operations with supply chain, applying MET and process automation to improve performance and yield.

You will lead daily KPI reviews, coordinate with Supply Chain, and guide plant personnel with measurement tools, troubleshooting, and corrective actions during unplanned events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; Chemical or mechanical preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience required.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Translate business production goals into plant production goals.
• Coordinate with Integrated Supply Chain for planning, shipping, and materials.
• Determine shutdown timing with Supply Chain, Turnaround, Operations and Maintenance.
• Coach plant personnel on KPI tracking and performance metrics.
• Lead troubleshooting with SMEs to improve operations.
• Apply MET and automation to optimize plant performance.
• Document root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain daily KPI reviews and incident response.
