Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior Production Engineer in Knoxville, TN, to optimize plant operations, resolve issues, and ensure safe, cost-effective production of quality products. The role serves as the plant-supply chain interface, driving short- and long-term improvement with technical excellence.

Ideal candidates will have engineering credentials and experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, compliance, and MET-driven process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; chemical or mechanical preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Translate business production goals into plant production targets.
• Coordinate with Integrated Supply Chain on planning, shipping, and materials.
• Lead troubleshooting and implement corrective actions during operations.
• Review KPI trends and logbook data to drive performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with operating permits and optimize MET usage.
