Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior Production Engineer for the Knoxville, TN area to optimize plant operations, resolve issues, and enable safe, efficient production of high-quality products. This role interfaces with plant and supply chain teams to meet business goals using engineering expertise and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; chemical or mechanical preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required.
• U.S. work authorization is required; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Translate business production goals into plant production goals.
• Coordinate with supply chain for production planning, shipping, and raw materials.
• Determine shutdown timing with Supply Chain, Turnaround, and Operations teams.
• Coach plant personnel on performance measurement and daily updates (KPI, cost, yield).
• Collaborate with operations and SMEs to apply MET and process automation for performance.
