Job summary

Dow seeks a Senior Production Engineer in Knoxville, TN to optimize plant operations and support safe, efficient production of quality products. You will partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Technology teams to drive performance improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership in problem solving, process automation, and asset utilization, with on-call duties and a focus on safety and operational discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs and translate to plant production goals.
• Coordinate with Integrated Supply Chain for production planning and shipping.
• Determine shutdown timing with Supply Chain and Operations teams.
• Coach personnel on performance metrics and daily updates.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure MET understanding and use of process automation.
• Diagnose asset utilization losses and document findings.
• Maintain daily KPI trends and respond to plant issues.
