Job summary

Dow seeks a Senior Production Engineer in Knoxville, TN to optimize plant operations, resolve issues, and ensure safe and cost-effective production of quality products. The role interfaces with supply chain and technology centers to implement effective corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.

The candidate will analyze KPIs, coordinate with operations, and lead problem solving with SMEs. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years of experience are required; US work authorization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; chemical or mechanical preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Translate business production goals into plant production goals.
• Coordinate with Integrated Supply Chain for production planning and materials.
• Determine shutdown timing with Supply Chain and Operations teams.
• Coach plant personnel on performance metrics and daily updates.
• Utilize MET and process automation to optimize performance.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and document root causes.
• Review KPI trends and alarm history for ongoing optimization.
• Respond to plant issues and participate in on-call rotation.
