Dow Inc. is seeking a Senior Production Engineer for our Knoxville, TN site. The role focuses on optimizing plant operations, solving complex production problems, and ensuring safe, cost-efficient output.

You will collaborate with Supply Chain and Technology Center to align production goals with business objectives. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience and US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Translates business production needs into plant production goals.
• Coordinates with Integrated Supply Chain to meet plant needs (planning, shipping, raw materials).
• Determines shutdown timing with Supply Chain, Turnaround, Operations and maintenance teams.
• Coaches plant personnel on measurement tools and KPI trends for performance.
• Engages with SME to optimize plant operations and document learnings.
• Uses MET and process automation to improve plant performance.
