Job summary
Sierra Nevada Corporation in Florida is seeking a Senior Product Support Engineer to provide expert-level technical support for product and system prototypes, lead troubleshooting, and drive strategic improvements to support processes.
You will mentor junior engineers, manage installation and testing projects, document solutions, and perform customer needs assessments while supporting DoD requirements and possible extended travel to OCONUS locations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in a technical support or engineering role.
- Expert-level troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with product installation and testing.
- Ability to deploy for extended periods to OCONUS locations.
- DoD and Combatant Command requirements knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support for product and system prototypes.
- Lead and manage product installation, testing, and validation projects.
- Diagnose and resolve critical technical issues and defects.
- Develop and implement advanced corrective actions in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Create and oversee high‑quality technical documentation.
- Conduct comprehensive customer needs assessments and deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Lead product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical workshops.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
- Drive strategic initiatives to improve product support processes and performance.
