Overview
Product Support Engineer III – Lead technical support for product and system prototypes, ensuring reliability and addressing complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical support and troubleshooting for product and system prototypes.
- Manage product installation, testing, and validation processes.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues and defects.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and reports.
- Conduct detailed customer needs assessments and provide technical solutions.
- Oversee product demonstrations and training sessions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product support and troubleshooting.
Qualifications – Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 6+ years of experience in technical support or engineering roles.
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF); higher‑level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Expertise in product installation and testing processes.
- Hands‑on experience with wireless networks, tactical communications, and personal computers.
- Strong communication and customer interface skills.
- Thorough understanding of system‑level maintenance of networks and communications systems.
- Active Top‑Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance required.
- Ability to deploy on a 60/60 rotation.
Qualifications – Preferred
- Advanced experience with prototype or concept product development.
- In‑depth knowledge of aerospace and defense industry standards and practices.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Project Management Professional).
- Working knowledge of operating military units and logistics.
- Familiarity with network integration of traditional communications systems and sensors.
- Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, and follow test procedures.
- Experience with RF, vehicle installation, and maintenance procedures.
- Background in aerospace, defense, government, or U.S. military.
- Leadership experience in military or civilian organization.
Essential Functions
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Hand/finger dexterity for operating computer equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
- Capability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
- Occasional travel may be required.

Security & Eligibility
