Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Forward Deployed Engineering. The role sits with an embedded team on-site with customers, owning strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for deployed solutions.

You will build the operating model for strategic accounts and translate field learnings into durable product improvements across Epicor's platform. You will lead a cross-disciplinary team, partner with executives, and drive rapid prototyping when speed is required, including pricing and ROI modeling

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined product management and engineering experience.
• Hands-on background building and maintaining software with rapid prototyping.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams as a manager or tech lead.
• Direct customer-facing experience with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Forward Deployed Engineering team with high engagement and delivery standards.
• Own the product and roadmap, deciding reusable features vs. custom solutions.
• Define the operating model for FDE engagements and resource staffing.
• Stay technical, review architecture, and prototype quickly when needed.
• Lead customer discovery sessions to uncover high-value problems and drive roadmaps.
• Coordinate across engineering, data science, UX, marketing, and field teams.
• Partner on go-to-market, pricing, packaging, and ROI models.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
