Job summary

Epicor seeks a Senior Product Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering to own strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for field‑deployed solutions. You’ll work on-site with customers, leading an embedded team to deliver durable improvements for Epicor’s cognitive ERP.

This hands-on role requires technical depth to evaluate architecture, prototype quickly, and drive customer value across engineering, data science, UX, and sales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined product management and engineering experience launching software products.
• Hands‑on background building software with rapid prototyping skills.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
• Direct customer-facing experience with executive stakeholders.
• Experience integrating software in enterprise environments (APIs, data pipelines, SSO, cloud).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Forward Deployed Engineering team, setting high standards for customer engagement and delivery.
• Own the product and roadmap for field-developed capabilities and reusable features.
• Define the operating model for FDE engagements, including discovery and deployment.
• Stay technical and hands-on by evaluating architectures and building prototypes as needed.
• Lead discovery and advisory sessions with strategic accounts to uncover high-value problems.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to align customer feedback with the broader roadmap.
• Develop pricing, packaging, and ROI models grounded in measurable customer value.
