Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Forward Deployed Engineering to own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for field deployments with customers. You will lead a hands-on team embedded at customer sites, guiding architecture, priorities, and reusable patterns across the core platform.

You will collaborate with executives, engineers, data scientists, and UX to deliver measurable customer value, including pricing and ROI models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of combined product management and engineering experience, with a track record of launching and scaling software products.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams as a manager or tech lead.
• Experience integrating software in enterprise environments, including APIs, data pipelines, authentication/SSO, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Forward Deployed Engineering team with high standards for customer engagement and delivery.
• Own the product lifecycle for field-developed capabilities and align multi-year roadmap with executive leadership.
• Define operating model for FDE engagements, including discovery, deployment, and platform integration.
• Stay hands-on by evaluating architecture designs and building rapid prototypes to maintain momentum.
• Lead customer discovery sessions with strategic accounts to uncover high-value problems.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, UX, marketing, and field teams.
• Partner with Product Marketing and Sales on pricing, packaging, ROI models grounded in customer value.
