Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Manager of Product Development in Forward Deployed Engineering to lead a hands-on team that works directly with customers to translate operations challenges into tailored software. You will guide automation and production-ready capabilities while building reusable platform features.

You will balance people leadership, software delivery, and cross-functional partnership with a focus on scalable, secure enterprise solutions and strong customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience overseeing software developers.
• Hands-on software development in .NET or enterprise app environments.
• Experience translating customer challenges into technical solutions.
• Expertise in cloud architecture for scalable, secure, cost-aware enterprise systems.
• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting production software.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15–20%.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a Forward Deployed Engineering team focused on customer-specific software solutions.
• Partner directly with customers to understand business processes, technical challenges, and opportunities for automation.
• Guide the design, development, deployment, and support of reliable production solutions.
• Remain hands-on in technical architecture, development, troubleshooting, and solution reviews.
• Identify patterns across customer engagements that may become reusable platform or product capabilities.
• Collaborate with product, platform, engineering, customer success, and other internal teams.
• Mentor engineers, establish delivery standards, and create a culture of ownership, learning, and customer impact.
