Job summary

PayPal is seeking a strong product leader to build scalable developer experiences for integrating PayPal Pay Later across APIs, SDKs, and platform integrations. You will own merchant discovery, evaluation, integration, and live deployment, and craft patterns and workflows for large merchants to embed Pay Later seamlessly.

The role combines product strategy with deep technical depth, partnering with Technical, Product and Strategy teams to deliver scalable solutions across multiple integration

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience developing, launching, and scaling Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) products.
• Demonstrable experience in SDK and API development.
• Proven ability to leverage artificial intelligence to improve product development and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Drives product strategy with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Plans and implements the architectural roadmap balancing design, regulation, time-to-market, and profitability.
• Assesses customer experience and needs in product requirements and decision making.
• Sets up data gathering mechanisms for usability studies and market analysis.
• Leads workstreams including analytics, customer discovery, and market research.
• Oversees product profitability measures, including budget.
• Plans operational mechanisms for execution and accountability including Product Reviews and Business Reviews.
• Partners with content strategists, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers.
• Maximises efficiency in a dynamic, creative environment.

Education

8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
