Job summary

Humana’s Digital Health Platform (DHP) is seeking a Senior Product Engineer who will own features across the stack and shape the technical approach, working with AI coding tools daily.

You will design, develop, and deploy WCAG 2.2–compliant UIs, GraphQL APIs, and Node.js microservices on Azure, collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers in cross-functional Agile teams to deliver measurable value for Humana’s members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, incl. 3+ years full-stack web development.
• 2+ years each with React, Node.js, GraphQL, incl. accessible UIs meeting WCAG 2.2.
• Experience shaping product/technical direction and shipped outcomes.
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor).

Responsibilities

• Stay close to the problem by understanding user needs and translating them into work.
• Shape what we build by contributing to roadmap and writing stories.
• Explore before committing with discovery, spikes, and prototypes.
• Own outcomes and measure impact on adoption, accessibility, performance, and reliability.
• Deliver end to end UI, GraphQL APIs, and Node.js microservices on Azure.
