Job summary

Humana’s Digital Health Platform (DHP) seeks a Senior Product Engineer to own features across the stack, decide technical approach, and work with AI coding tools daily. You will influence the roadmap, collaborate across teams, and deliver accessible interfaces and microservices on Azure.

Join a cross-functional Agile environment where you will help build shared tooling and skills, and measure impact on members and teams through adoption, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering, including 3+ years of full-stack web development.
• 2+ years each with React, Node.js, and GraphQL, including accessible UIs meeting WCAG 2.2.
• Experience owning product or technical direction.
• Hands-on with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.

Responsibilities

• Stay close to the problem by working with users and stakeholders.
• Shape what we build by proposing roadmap ideas and writing stories.
• Explore before committing with discovery, spikes, and prototypes.
• Own outcomes by measuring adoption, accessibility, performance, and reliability.
• Deliver end to end: UI, GraphQL APIs, and Node.js microservices on Azure.
• Build quality in with test-driven development and security best practices.
• Extend our tooling by maintaining AI coding skills and tooling.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers in Agile teams.
