Job summary

Epicor seeks a Principal Product Developer to lead and evolve critical applications across .NET and legacy Pick/UniBasic environments. This hands-on role combines technical leadership, mentoring, and modernization of established systems with a focus on reliability and scalability.

You will guide cross-functional teams, design and implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in release processes while mentoring developers and shaping engineering culture at Epicor.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software development experience with Windows Forms.
• 3+ years of VB.NET web/windows Forms applications.
• 4+ years of distribution industry software experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CSIS, or related field.
• Experience with testing methodologies and defect resolution.
• Proven ability to lead technical work and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience mentoring other professionals.
• Customer-service mindset and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on complex initiatives and projects.
• Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain software systems and applications.
• Collaborate with Product Development QA and cross-functional teams on changes, testing, and releases.
• Mentor and coach other developers; deliver technical training.
• Promote engineering best practices and drive automation and CI improvements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive strategic adoption.
• Represent Epicor’s technical expertise at internal and external events.
