Job summary
Epicor seeks a Principal Product Developer to evolve and support business-critical applications built on modern .NET technologies and legacy Pick/UniBasic environments. This hands-on technical leadership role blends solving complex problems with mentoring developers and shaping better engineering practices across teams.
You will guide development across applications, integrations, APIs, databases, and release processes, drive automation and CI improvements, and help ensure Epicor's distribution
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience with Windows Forms.
- 3+ years of VB.NET development (web or Windows Forms).
- 4+ years of distribution-industry software experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain software systems and applications.
- Provide technical leadership on complex development initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure change, testing, and release requirements are met.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects with Product QA.
- Mentor and coach other developers; deliver technical training.
- Promote software development best practices and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and CI.
