Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Principal Product Developer to evolve and support business-critical applications across modern .NET and legacy Pick/UniBasic environments. This hands-on technical leadership role involves mentoring developers, shaping engineering practices, and driving modernization of established systems.

You will lead across applications, integrations, APIs, databases, and release processes to ensure Epicor’s distribution solutions remain reliable and scalable.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software development including Windows Forms.
• 3+ years VB.NET development (web or Windows Forms).
• 4+ years experience in distribution industry software.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain software systems and applications.
• Provide technical leadership on complex development initiatives and projects.
• Partner with Product Development, Product QA, and cross-functional teams to meet change, testing, and release requirements.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects with Product QA.
• Mentor and coach other developers; provide technical guidance.
