Job summary

Epicor seeks a Principal Product Developer to evolve and support business-critical .NET applications and legacy Pick/UniBasic environments. This hands-on technical leadership role involves mentoring developers, modernizing systems, and shaping engineering practices across applications, integrations, APIs, databases, and release processes.

You will help Epicor's distribution solutions remain reliable, scalable, and ready for what's next, while collaborating with product teams to deliver

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software development experience, including Windows Forms expertise.
• 3+ years in VB.NET applications (web and/or Windows Forms).
• 4+ years experience in distribution industry software solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field.
• Experience with testing methodologies and defect resolution.
• Ability to lead technical work and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience mentoring and developing other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain software systems.
• Provide technical leadership on complex projects.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for changes, testing, and releases.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects with Product QA.
• Mentor and coach other developers and provide technical training.
• Promote engineering standards and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency via automation and CI.
