Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Principal Product Developer to evolve and support business-critical applications built on modern .NET technologies and legacy Pick/UniBasic environments. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring developers, and shaping better engineering practices.

You'll work across application development, integrations, APIs, databases, and release processes while helping ensure Epicor's distribution solutions remain reliable,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with Windows Forms.
• 3+ years building VB.NET web and/or Windows Forms apps.
• 4+ years in distribution industry software solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, CIS, or related field.
• Experience with testing methods and defect resolution.
• Proven ability to lead work and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience mentoring and coaching professionals.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain software systems.
• Provide technical leadership on complex initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for changes, testing, releases.
• Investigate and resolve defects with Product QA.
• Mentor and coach other developers; deliver training.
• Promote software development best practices.
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for Epicor products.
