Job summary

PEMCO seeks a Product Analyst to partner with Product Managers and Actuaries, delivering analyses that inform recommendations supporting PEMCO's initiatives. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and clear communication of insights to stakeholders.

You will work on reporting, workflow documentation, and project coordination, contributing to profitable growth while upholding PEMCO's values and brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a quantitative field such as business, economics, or mathematics.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience in SQL and SQL Server.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-complex analysis to evaluate product performance and identify trends and issues; provide actionable recommendations.
• Document system workflows and business processes.
• Support short- and long-term strategies for profitable growth using data and qualitative insights.
• Compile materials for rate and form filings.
• Plan and manage small to medium scale projects.
• Query databases to generate scheduled and ad hoc reports and analyses.
