Job summary

PEMCO, a mutual insurance company, seeks a Product Analyst to partner with Product Managers and Actuaries to analyze performance, identify trends, and support rate and form filings. You will document workflows and contribute to strategic initiatives for profitable growth.

You should have a Bachelor's or equivalent in a quantitative field, strong MS Office skills, and experience with SQL, data visualization tools, and clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field.
• MS Office proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience in SQL and SQL Server.
• Strong analytical mindset with data integration and insight generation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Data visualization experience with Power BI and Tableau preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, rules, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-complex analysis to evaluate performance and identify trends, and make actionable recommendations.
• Document system workflows and business processes.
• Support strategies for profitable growth using quantitative and qualitative data.
• Compile materials for rate and form filings.
• Plan and manage small to medium projects.
• Query databases to generate scheduled and ad hoc reports and analyses.
• Demonstrate alignment with PEMCO policies, values, and ethics.
• Support PEMCO brand and talent acquisition initiatives.
