Job summary

Amcor Limited is seeking a Sr. Process and Tooling Engineer to lead Blow M molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across Amcor manufacturing operations in Evansville, IN.

You’ll manage tooling projects from concept to implementation, providing technical leadership in mold manufacturing and process optimization. The role partners with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and vendors to ensure tooling designs and production systems meet safety,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required; related experience considered.
• Minimum 5–8 years in plastics packaging manufacturing or tooling engineering.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding tooling and vendors essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, qualification, and validation activities.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs and cycle times.
• Develop and maintain process sheets, POA docs, and validation plans.
• Manage tooling projects from concept to implementation; track timelines and budgets.
• Mentor technicians and engineers; train plant personnel on tooling systems.
