Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Specialist III Process, Standards & Training to develop, publish, and manage commercial training programs across our brands. You will onboard new associates, partner with hiring managers, and lead cross-brand projects to integrate SOPs, training materials, and process updates.

The role requires strong expertise in change management, instructional design, and content governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years managing cross-functional training and process improvement initiatives, process standards, and onboarding solutions.
• Ability to run and manage a project initiative from planning through execution.
• PROSCI Certification or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to leverage adult learning and instructional design methodologies.
• Ability to create process documentation for assigned functional areas, guiding SOP development, standard updates, and process mapping.
• Self-motivated to meet multiple deadlines and business objectives with minimal supervision.
• Ability to build effective relationships with all levels of leadership and peers to ensure alignment and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain role-specific training plans, processes, and standards for assigned areas.
• Make enhancements to course content as needed to improve the learner's experience.
• Develop courseware, to include Interactive multimedia instruction that resonates with adult learners.
• Ensure alignment and adherence to control guidelines for all training programs, processes, standards, and resources developed.
• Lead governance of training content, including version control, cross-brand content alignment, and integration with enterprise competency models.
• Serve as the primary process documentation lead for assigned functional areas, guiding SOP development, standard updates, and process mapping.
• Maintain SharePoint sites, Knowledge Center, and other documentation repositories.
• Translate complex commercial concepts into easily understandable language & drive continuous improvement on processes, learning resources, and associate engagement.
• Support the development and execution of all training events providing logistical, process and documentation support to facilitate business subject matter experts.
• Manage the onboarding and learning process for associates new to role. This includes facilitating conversations between hiring managers, associates, CI Training & SME's as well as leading training sessions related to associate development.
• Serve as a cross-brand training & process liaison, coordinating intake of training & process needs and ensuring alignment on standards and role expectations.
• Review and validate SOP changes for training impact; ensure updated process content is incorporated into documentation repositories and training curriculums.
• Utilize innovative approaches to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training solutions.
• Recommend metrics to measure training results.
• Establishes change interventions and leverages PROSCI methodology as needed.
