Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Specialist I Process, Standards & Training to develop and maintain commercial training programs, SOPs, and onboarding content. You will coordinate training updates, track completion, and support cross-brand initiatives across ADUSA brands.

The role emphasizes change management, content management, and collaboration with PS&T leads and stakeholders. Hybrid work includes 3 in-person days at core locations and 2 remote days.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-3 years' experience in training and development programs, and/or designing learning solutions.
• Project management experience, adept at tight deadlines and multiple projects
• Exceptional oral and written communications skills with ability to synthesize information from diverse sources
• Knowledge of adult learning and instructional design methodologies
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Occasional travel as needed 0-30%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training handbooks, tool kits, resource guides and SOPs for all areas of commercial.
• Create and maintain SOPs or training programs and guides as agreed with PS&T Lead and stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment and adherence to control guidelines for all training programs.
• Translate complex concepts into simple language and drive writing clarity for merchandising level associates.
• Support the development and execution of training events, including Days of Development, with logistics and documentation.
• Support competency-based assessments and update content in the Associate Development Hub.
• Ensure SOPs and training content stay synchronized with process updates from PS&T and partners.
• Additional duties as needed to meet business needs and values.
