Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst for a 100% remote position supporting the Veterans Affairs department. The role emphasizes process improvement, Agile/SAFe practices, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver value across projects.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in business processes, metrics development, and regulatory compliance. Must hold a U.S. citizenship and a Public Trust clearance or be eligible.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading and delivering complex projects.
• Experience eliciting and documenting business requirements, processes and workflows.
• Familiarity with modeling techniques and notation (UML, BPMN).
• Proficient with office and diagramming tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on process improvement strategies and organizational redesign.
• Define and develop business processes, policies, roles and performance metrics.
• Conduct current state and gap analyses, benchmarking and best practices.
• Plan and implement future state design, change management and transition plans.
• Interface with customer, IT, and client services teams to align requirements.
• Deliver presentations and training on measurement, analysis and control.
