Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Lead Process Engineer to direct process development, design integration, and execution of municipal and industrial water and wastewater projects across North America. You will guide process selection, develop design packages, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver cost-effective, constructible solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in water/wastewater and experience in design-build/EPC environments, with strong leadership and client-relationship

Qualifications

10+ years in municipal and industrial water/wastewater design.
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil/Environmental Engineering.
PE registration preferred.
Willing to travel 25–40% for remote/office locations.
Experience leading design-build/EPC projects.
Experience with hydraulic modeling software.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and engineering leadership for industrial water and wastewater facility design and optimization.
Oversee preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, and calculations including hydraulics and equipment sizing.
Perform process systems and hydraulics modeling and scenario studies.
Interface with clients and partner engineers to support project development and client relationships.
Coordinate multiple projects within budget and schedule; mentor junior engineers.
Represent Kiewit at meetings, presentations, and client development activities.
Contribute to improving design production and share knowledge with teams.
