Job summary
Commercial Metals Company is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance professional for our heavy industrial facilities. You will troubleshoot medium/high voltage equipment, lead inspection cycles, and diagnose power issues across substations and relays.
Candidates should have strong PCB/relay knowledge and hands-on experience with PLCs and automation controls. The role requires 2+ years in electrical maintenance, CMMS/SAP familiarity, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement in
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years electrical maintenance experience preferred.
- CMMS experience preferred.
- PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of grounding systems and maintenance required.
- Understand electrical and mechanical maintenance, hydraulics and pneumatics, and Arc Flash safety.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot all aspects of medium/high voltage equipment for an industrial steel production facility.
- Lead facility’s annual testing and inspection requirements.
- Diagnose and remedy problems related to power irregularities and substation issues.
- Maintain and revise manuals, drawings, schematics, maintenance logs, and other documentation.
- Install, monitor, and maintain electrical and electronic control systems and components.
