Job summary

CMC seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our steel and construction reinforcement operations. You’ll work across maintenance tasks from electrical repairs to control system diagnostics, using SAP for work orders and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial maintenance, know PLCs, schematics, and NFPA/OSHA standards, and can rotate shifts including weekends. Join a Fortune 500 company focused on sustainable infrastructure.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years industrial maintenance experience
Electrical controls maintenance and repair
Ability to read electrical schematics and PLC logic
Experience with SAP maintenance module
Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends

Responsibilities

Participates in CMC Safety Programs and upholds the CMC Safety Culture
Diagnose malfunctioning systems and determine root cause
Perform maintenance tasks including repair or replacement of damaged parts, adjustments and calibration procedures
Provide technical assistance to maintenance and production personnel as needed
Use SAP maintenance module in the execution of duties, utilize computers to acquire information, documentation, account for time and corrective actions
Works with related diagnostic equipment including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other electronic tools and equipment
Install, monitor, inspect, troubleshoot, and ensure reliability of all electrical, electronic control systems and components, process equipment, and AC/DC utilities
Ensure all electrical work complies with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and CMC safety standards
