Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Durant, OK. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, and control systems across shop machinery, cranes, HVAC, and PLC networks, while adhering to safety rules and company PPE.

Candidates should have 3+ years of maintenance experience, familiarity with SAP maintenance modules, and the ability to work rotating shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• AC/DC troubleshooting experience required.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of PLCs and electrical schematics.
• 3+ years industrial maintenance preferred.
• MRO/SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with departments and individuals.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Assist ARP Planners with scheduling and prioritizing maintenance activities.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold Safety Culture.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and tools.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls, PLC, electrical drives, and high voltage systems.
• Inspect and maintain shop machinery, cranes, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain records of work performed and parts used.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
• Provide technical assistance to maintenance and production personnel.
