Job summary

Commercial Metals LTD seeks an experienced electrical technician to maintain and troubleshoot mid/high—voltage equipment in a steel production environment. You will diagnose power irregularities, inspect control systems, and support crane and process equipment reliability.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, safety, and collaboration with a diverse team in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with grounding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and arc flash safety.
• Familiarity with PLCs, ladder logic, and automation control systems.
• Experience with industrial electrical repairs including drives and motors.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in a heavy industrial facility.
• Install, monitor, and inspect electrical control systems and process equipment.
• Lead annual testing and inspection requirements when on shift.
• Support training and development of team members.
