Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Redondo Beach, CA, is seeking a Sr. Principal Program Control Analyst (Level 4) on-site to lead Earned Value and cost control efforts for multiple contracts within an IPT environment.

The role interfaces with program managers, CAMs and IPTs to provide financial and administrative support, with responsibilities ranging from budget baselines to government reporting. A clearance is required and a strong background in EVMS is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in Business Management, Accounting, Financial Analysis, and/or related field, OR Master's degree with 6 years of experience in Business Management, Accounting, Financial Analysis, and/or related field.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Experience in Government Contracting with Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Financial forecasting experience with EVMS and/or government cost reporting.
• Understanding of Business Systems (SAP/Cobra).

Responsibilities

• Use financial systems, learn EVMS principles and hands-on cost performance reporting/analysis.
• Develop and implement solutions of moderate scope and complexity.
• Analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniques; work under general supervision while completing numerous assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues to ensure proper management focus.
• Exert some influence on peers and internal customers; represent the group on special projects outside of own group.
