Bob's Discount Furniture seeks aSenior Pricing Analyst who will own the analytical foundation for pricing decisions across the enterprise. You will partner with Merchants, Merchandise Finance, and Marketing to develop price point recommendations, evaluate promotional effectiveness, and shape markdown strategy.

You will set analytical standards for pricing and mentor junior analysts, becoming the trusted authority on pricing with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of analytical experience in retail pricing, merchandising, planning, or finance.
• Advanced Excel skills with scenario modeling and large data handling.
• Proficiency in SQL to source, join, and validate data across systems.
• Strong command of retail margin mechanics and pricing levers.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to senior leadership.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Own competitive price intelligence and translate data into actionable pricing recommendations.
• Lead price point analysis, evaluating margin impact, elasticity, and historical performance.
• Evaluate promotional effectiveness and decide which offers to repeat, reshape, or retire.
• Own markdown analytics; model depth and timing and monitor sell-through and margin recovery.
• Build and maintain pricing models and scenario tools to quantify P&L impact before decisions.
• Design and continually improve pricing dashboards and data lineage across reporting systems.
• Govern price change execution, maintain governance documentation, and ensure cross-functional alignment.
