Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture seeks a Pricing Lead to own pricing strategy and commercial execution across the enterprise. You will translate decisions into accurate price activation across channels and touchpoints, leading a team of analysts and partnering with Merchants, Merchandise Finance, Marketing, and E‑Commerce.

This role requires managing price architecture, promotions, markdowns, and governance while driving margin improvement and timely market activation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, finance, economics, analytics, mathematics or related field.
• 6–9 years of pricing, merchandising, finance, or related experience with direct ownership of pricing decisions.
• Experience leading people or analysts, formally or as a team lead.
• Proven ownership of pricing or promotional execution in multi‑channel retail.
• Strong command of retail margin mechanics, promotional economics, and markdown strategy.
• Advanced Excel and SQL or comparable data tooling.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders under commercial pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own price architecture, calendar, and promotional strategy with margin impact.
• Govern pricing controls, governance, and post‑execution audits to prevent errors reaching customers.
• Lead end‑to‑end activation across systems, channels, and assets.
• Partner with Marketing and E‑Commerce to reflect approved pricing in messaging and terms.
• Develop the pricing analytics agenda including elasticity read and markdown effectiveness.
