Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture seeks a Senior Pricing Analyst to own pricing analytics across the enterprise, including competitive intelligence, pricing suite, and markdown strategy. You will partner with Merchants, Merchandise Finance, and Marketing to defend price point recommendations and shape promotional plans.

The role requires 4–7 years in retail pricing analysis, strong data skills, and the ability to present insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 4-7 years of analytical experience in retail pricing, merchandising, planning, or finance.
• Advanced Excel skills including modelling and scenario analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL to source, join, and validate data across systems.
• Strong command of retail margin mechanics and pricing levers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own competitive price intelligence and translate data into actionable pricing recommendations.
• Lead price point analysis and assess impact of architecture changes on margins.
• Evaluate promotional effectiveness and decide on optimization of offers.
• Model markdown depth and timing, monitoring sell-through and margin recovery.
• Build and maintain pricing models and scenario tools.
