Job summary

Lumen is seeking a senior pricing and monetization leader to shape offers across cloud, AI-enabled, and digital product portfolios. You will craft scalable monetization frameworks, drive marketing motions, and guide cross-functional teams to test and deploy ideas that align with long-term business goals.

You’ll build financial models, analyze unit economics, and measure outcomes to inform strategic decisions. Strong communication with executives and stakeholders is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing pricing strategies, including usage metering and rate design.
• 6+ years in pricing, monetization strategy, financial analysis, or related fields.
• Experience pricing for cloud platforms, SaaS, AI-enabled products, APIs, or ecosystems.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytics skills using SQL, Python, and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead promotional pricing strategy, rate design, marketing coordination, governance.
• Develop scalable monetization motions that can be tested and evolved.
• Align pricing with customer value, usage, outcomes, product strategy, and growth.
• Identify new revenue opportunities to maximize network value.
• Build models and evaluate margins, customer behavior, scalability, and benchmarks.
• Use cohort analysis to measure new initiative effectiveness.
• Partner with product, engineering, finance, sales, marketing to sell viable offers.
• Advise on cloud and AI monetization tradeoffs, risks, and best practices.
• Present executive-ready business cases linking pricing to value and growth.
