Job summary

Block, Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Analyst on the Pricing & Monetization team to shape pricing for large partnerships. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, build complex pricing models, and present recommendations to senior leadership.

With at least 5 years of related experience and strong financial modeling skills, you will design guardrails, scale deal operations, and stay ahead of market trends in the payments space.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including building P&L and unit economics models from scratch
• Sound commercial judgment when weighing growth, margin, and risk in a deal
• Experience building trusted relationships with senior leaders and presenting analysis and recommendations that shape their decisions
• A track record of owning projects end to end, from framing the question to implementing the decision
• A habit of building repeatable systems rather than one-off answers, and comfort using AI tools to scale your work

Responsibilities

• Advise on complex deals: partner cross-functionally to build custom pricing and incentive proposals for some of the most exciting brands in the world
• Set pricing guardrails: design portfolio-level pricing targets and deal-level guardrails that let teams move quickly while protecting margin
• Scale the operating model: build and refine the processes we use to price and approve large deals across many teams
• Track the market: analyze pricing trends across Square’s portfolio and the broader payments industry, and turn what you find into recommendations
• Present to leadership: turn complex models into clear recommendations for senior leaders
