Job summary

Block is seeking a Senior Analyst on the Pricing & Monetization team to shape pricing for major partnerships. You will partner with GTM leaders to craft custom pricing, set guardrails, and scale pricing processes across the organization.

The role requires advanced financial modeling, strong commercial judgment, and a track record of delivering end-to-end projects while leveraging AI tools to increase efficiency. This is a remote-first US role with strong collaboration expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience with a Bachelor’s, or 3 years with a Master, or a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including building P&L and unit economics models from scratch.
• Sound commercial judgment weighing growth, margin, and risk in a deal.
• Experience building trusted relationships with senior leaders and presenting analysis and recommendations that shape decisions.
• A track record of owning projects end to end, from framing the question to implementing the decision.
• A habit of building repeatable systems and comfort using AI tools to scale work.

Responsibilities

• Advise on complex deals: partner cross-functionally to build pricing and incentive proposals.
• Set pricing guardrails: design portfolio-level targets and deal guardrails that protect margin.
• Scale the operating model: build and refine price and deal approval processes across teams.
• Track the market: analyze pricing trends and translate findings into recommendations.
• Present to leadership: turn complex models into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
