Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Presales Engineer to architect complex Land Mobile Radio (LMR) infrastructure from scope definition to sale. You will lead technical design in collaboration with sales and service teams and ensure solutions meet critical customer needs.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong wireless knowledge, and the ability to present to executives. West Coast or Texas candidates preferred with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in sales, sales engineering, solutions architecture, military or public safety.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to customers and sales team.
• Lead requirements discovery and technology strategy.
• Design wireless solutions and radio coverage plans.
• Develop detailed system designs and technical diagrams.
• Lead proposals, RFP responses and contract negotiations.
• Present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
