Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Presales Engineer to architect complex Land Mobile Radio infrastructure from scope to sale, aligning with customer mission needs. You will lead technical design, coordinate across engineering, service and sales teams, and ensure proposals meet critical safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years in sales, sales engineering, solutions architecture, military and/or public safety
• OR 10+ years of experience in sales, sales engineering, solutions architecture, military and/or public safety
• Strong knowledge of wireless comms fundamentals and voice/data architectures (APCO P25, LTE, 802.11, 3G/4G)
• Strong IP networking knowledge and security understanding
• Experience with RF coverage predictions and traffic modeling tools
• Excellent written and oral communication; able to present to executives and technical teams

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to customers and sales team
• Discover customer requirements and develop technology strategy
• Design radio coverage and system architectures
• Generate equipment lists and comprehensive system diagrams
• Lead technical design and deliver compelling presentations to executives
• Coordinate with Systems Integration, Service, Sales and Product Groups
• Drive proposals, win strategies and project execution from start to finish
