Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Presales Engineer to lead the technical design of Land Mobile Radio infrastructure across complex projects. You will own the journey from scope to sale, serving as the authority on solutions and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong wireless and IP networking knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to translate customer requirements into robust designs while supporting revenue and margin goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in sales, sales engineering, solutions architecture, military and/or public safety.
• 6+ years of experience in sales, sales engineering, solutions architecture, military and/or public safety.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data architectures (APCO P25, LTE, 802.11, 3G/4G) is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking architecture, protocols and security is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Trusted advisor to customers and sales team.
• Customer requirements discovery and technology strategy development.
• Radio coverage design and analysis; equipment list generation.
• Developing comprehensive system designs and detailed technical diagrams; power and networking calculations.
