SCA Health invites a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our PreOp/PACU team in the United States. You will assess patients preoperatively and postoperatively, support anesthesia recovery, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure safe, effective perioperative care.

We require a Nursing degree, active RN licensure, and BLS certification, with ACLS/PALS within 90 days if pediatric care is involved. Minimum one year in PreOp or PACU is preferred.

Formación

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required.
• Medical / surgical nursing experience.
• Current state licensure to practice within good standings.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope (within 90 days of employment).
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days of employment or current BLS/BCLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status according to facility policies.
• Interpret information from monitors and manage patient recovery from anesthesia.
• Develop and implement an individualized perianesthesia plan of care.
• Provide hand-off reports and collaborate with the perioperative team.
• Perform all duties with patient safety, privacy, and dignity in mind.
